We've got a couple of WBSA members towing our boats up to Saginaw bay to fish the Walleyes for Warriors outing up there this June. They still need a few boats , 6 or 7 plus a couple alternates in case of trouble.. I think they are at 63 right now.. Following is more info.

We will be providing weigh in equipment and at least moral support. hope to see a couple more of you donate your time. Should be a good bite in june!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Walleyes For Warriors" This is a recreational therapy event for Purple Heart and disabled Veterans. Veterans Park - Bay City, Mi - June 18-19 2011 We need only about 20 Boat Captains to get our goal of 70 boaters at this time. Please help pass the word around. Without your help this event would not succeed.

This is the final Sponsorship Program this will be printed. Save to your records for your use until we get our fliers. If you know of a possible sponsor show them this program. We are in dire need of lots of door prizes to pass out to the Veterans after the pig roast as well as monetary donations. One more thing, remember that all sponsors should be invited to the event. Ok group time to go to work. Good luck. Anyone have any questions call me anytime. Nels Larsen 989 928 4368 or 989 837 2681

Donations will be used to cover expenses of the fishing event and expenses of participants based on need, including rooms, gas and fishing licenses. Our goal is to make this event as FREE as possible for each Veteran. Any residual proceeds will go to benefit the Michigan Paralyzed Veterans of America and the Brain Injury Association of Michigan Veteran’s programs.

Please make donation and sponsorship checks payable to: “BIAMI Vets Program” or the Brain Injury Association of Michigan Veterans Program. Please put: “Walleyes for Warriors” in the remarks section, and mail to: BIAMI, 7305 Grand River Ave, Suite #100, Brighton, MI 48116. BIAMI is a state chartered 501-c-3 organization and your tax deduction information will be provided upon processing of the donation/sponsorship.

Good show Scott! I don't know where I'm staying yet, Nels is looking for discounted rooms for us I think.

I plan on going up 2-3 days in advance to do a little for the Hell of it fishing. As time gets near we all need to exchange phone numbers, etc.

Would like to go up for that as I like fishing the Bay and the bite should be on in the inner bay at that time. That happens to fall on the same weekend as our counties Relay for Life event. Our company is heavily involved in it so I will be unable to go to the Bay.

For those of you going up have fun and thank you for supporting such a great cause.

I'll be heading up Thursday afternoon as well. Fishing with Stone lab Thursday and will leave for Saginaw after we are done with that. I've got a rider Saturday and maybe Friday. If Friday's rider falls someone can ride with me if alone or I'll jump on one of your boats if room.

Aaron, send me the details for our room or post it here so others going up know where were at.

My number is 419-680-4459 if you want to call Scott.

Haven't heard much about the Saginaw bite lately. Guess it's time to check out some of the Saginaw boards.

It looks like I lost my rider for Saturday so if anyone from the club wants to fish Saginaw Bay Friday and Sunday, give me a shout.
