Gullet and Geitgey weren’t content with an already good weekend and used the tournament win to propel themselves to the top spot in the Team of the Year race. Charlie Robinson and Mike Zaborski ended up second and Jerome Dorlack and Todd Miller finished third in the final standings. Craig at Erie Outfitters once again put together a great array of spinner fishing tackle including blades from Silver Streak and also will be supplying the winning team with embroidered jackets.
The teams brought a total of 305 fish to the scales that averaged 5.89 lbs. Most of the top teams fished the Lorain area. Fish were caught on Reef Runners, spinners and spoons. The winning team pulled Ole Pete’s Tackle blades behind inline boards.
