Full Event for “Waldo Peppers” Lakevue Event

The Crown Battery, Sharpnack Chevrolet, Buick Lake Erie Walleye Trail (LEWT) will hold the second event of 2012 on Saturday April 28th at Lakevue Marina with a full field, with “Waldo Peppers Bar and Grill” will be sponsoring this event.

Virgil Tent and Bill Miller set a new standard for the 2012 season with a 52 pound bag at the previous LEWT Tournament. Surely most teams want to continue what has been a spring full of big fish.

In addition to the first place tournament payout the Medina Plating Early Bird Award of $150 will go to the highest finishing Early Bird team at the tournament. Sharpnack Chevrolet-Buick will also be awarding $150 to the top finishing team that owns a vehicle purchased from them.

“ The weather is always the determining factor on Erie and with a week till the Lakevue Tournament it’s probably on everyone’s mind.” says LEWT Tournament Director, Aaron Depinet. “ It should be a mixed bag between people using spinners and cranks. The weigh-in should be exciting to see what people used.” The weigh-in will be held at Lakevue Marina at 3pm.

Sandusky –“Hi-Way Bait” Sandusky City Ramp Event – June 2nd
Huron –“Erie Outfitters” Huron City Ramp Event – June 23rd and 24 th

The WBSA is a Social based Club for fishermen and women that fish in the Western & Central Basin of Lake Erie and its tributaries. Membership is open to all fisher people no matter what their location. Our goal is to present information in a manner that will help sustain and improve fishing in one of the greatest inland sport fisheries in the world. Scientific information, fishing techniques, locations and presentations are presented at our meetings by expert and knowledgeable speakers and tournament anglers in our group. These anglers are very open with techniques and methods and will help any member that is trying to learn new methods.
