Welcome to the New Year. I haven't posted lately because I just haven't had much to post. I finally received a second hand fishing report from a few days ago. Walleye were caught about 1 mile west of Green Island by basically ice fishing from a boat. Vibrating blade baits jigged vertically caught plenty of eaters with one larger fish around 9 pounds.
I've been busy lately making presentations for work. I had the pleasure of presenting to the Mid Ohio walleye club last Thursday with my co-worker Chris. Nearly 50 people showed up and made it a very enjoyable meeting. This past Saturday I was asked to present at the Cleveland boat show, and I'm scheduled again in Angler's Alley at 6 and 8 this Friday evening and then again on Saturday (4:30 I think).
Don't let the spring sneak up on you. It's already time to get equipment ready to go. With any luck we'll be fishing in March for big girls again or jigging on the reefs for males if that's what you prefer.
